It takes a 45-minute drive from Bassano to reach the area where Prosecco grapes are grown, and the wine is produced. The route is about 50 km, along which you can visit vineyards, wineries, cellars, and taste top-quality Prosecco.

Originally built in the Roman Age as a defensive fortress to protect the important lines of communication between Northern Italy and the countries on the other side of the Alps, Castelbrando has now been extensively restored and houses a 4-star hotel, museum and a theatre. Visitors can reach the castle by funicular railway from the nearby village.
